In 2022, a fake image of former President Donald Trump being arrested by federal agents went viral on social media, sparking outrage and confusion among his supporters and opponents. The image was later revealed to be created by an AI tool called ThisPersonDoesNotExist.com, which generates realistic faces of people who do not exist.

As AI technology becomes more advanced and accessible, the potential for abuse and misuse also increases. Therefore, it is important for users to be vigilant and critical when consuming online information and to verify the sources and credibility of any images or videos they encounter. It is also crucial for authorities and platforms to monitor and regulate AI tools that can create fake content and educate the public about the risks and challenges of AI-generated misinformation.
